Transfer your catalog through Google Services

At Zil Distribution, we've made it easy to migrate your music catalog using Google Drive and Sheets.
Step 1: Getting Started
Access the link provided by our operations team. This takes you to the Google Sheet with all necessary pages for transferring your catalog.
Step 2: Stores and Countries
Navigate through the pages using the menu at the bottom left. The "Stores" and "Countries" pages apply to your entire catalog. Select TRUE or FALSE for each store and country.
Step 3: Artists
Upload all of your artists first, as they will be needed on the Metadata page. Fill in all required information. If an artist already exists on our platform, their data will not be modified.
Step 4: Data Uploading
Upload your .WAV audio files and .JPG/.JPEG cover art files to Google Drive. Add the corresponding links to the appropriate album line on the Metadata page.
Step 5: Metadata Structure
Take your time and complete the metadata carefully. Mistakes could result in time-consuming manual corrections.
Step 6: Metadata - Adding Releases
Key fields include:
- Project Name: Only visible on our platform
- Fantasy Name: The Album name published in stores
Select from predefined options in required fields and follow the artist linking methodology.
Step 7: Auto-Split
To activate automatic royalty distribution, set "has Autosplit" to TRUE and fill in the "Split Percentage." You can also add a "Start Limit" to collect all royalties until an artist finishes paying their advance.
